Tessin Bozard began her Tae-Kwon Do life in 2002, receiving her first degree black belt in 2006.  She participated in several Chung Do Kwan TKD tournaments as a color belt and black belt and became an assistant instructor at red belt.  During her 2nd and 3rd degrees, Tessin studied self-defense knife training and Hapkido.  Her weapons experience with nunchucks, shinai, bo staff, and sai has been an additional part of her martial arts practice.  She also has informally studied Jujitsu, Muy Thai, and traditional kickboxing.

Tessin has been a conditioning coach for the Morristown Roller Derby Team, the Jerzey Derby Brigade and has taught self-defense for all age levels.  She has received a Master Level Certification of 4th degree black belt from the Kukkiwon in Seoul, Korea, the governing body of the World Tae Kwon Do Federation.
